I’m in love with this Oaxacan mole from the Atwater Farmer’s Market.  Estofado Mole: tomatoes, cocoa, almonds, sesame seeds, whole olives with pimentos, capers, maple syrup, salt and spices. OMG this is so delicious! Bloom Foods I love you! E picked their Dark Cacao Mole - we are going to go something fantastic with that one tomorrow!! Today’s project: pulled up all the 1950s phone line that was screwed into all the base boards in the living room, wood putty, sanded, then painted one wall nocturne blue. Needs another coat of paint then I’m going to draw an AM/FM receiver circuit diagram on the whole wall or maybe a schematic for building a theremin. #artlife #circuits #blueprints #scematics #favoritethings (at My Little Pink House )

Dinner for E: carrots, BBQ tempeh, mashed potatoes with white bean gravy. 

Gravy: sautéed shallots, onions and garlic, fresh thyme, pepper, splash of soy sauce, 1 cup veggie broth with 1/3 cup flour whisked in, 1 cup puréed white or navy beans blended, cook until thickened. #vegan #lifewithan11yearold  (at My Little Pink House )
